Park Chinois had been the dream of Hong Kong-born restaurateur Alan Yau for several years, and the flamboyant project led by interior designer Jacques Garcia took more than three years to complete. The venue takes over the two floors of a former nightclub and restaurant on prestigious Berkeley Street in London.

Anchoring the dramatic decor of the dining room is the gleaming black wood flooring designed by Cypres Lessols. Black-stained oak wood lacquered boards were finished in a specially developed super-glossy coating to preserve the durability of the floor and ensure a long-lasting dining and dancing experience.
